What is CareerSearch?
CareerSearch is a powerful, on-line employment research tool that can help you find detailed information about employers that interest you. It consists of a database of over one million employers from every major sector of the business and academic worlds. This information is search-able by categories such as industry, company size, and geographic location. Once a specific company has been selected, you can access detailed information such as the company's revenues, number of employees, and department level contact information.
What can I do with CareerSearch?
CareerSearch can help with your employer research by allowing you to:
· Focus your search for information on specific industries.
· Discover information regarding an employer's products and services.
· Locate employers in a specific geographic area.
· Search for potential employers based on your own personal preferences.
· Find contact information for decision makers within specific companies.
· Print a map of the exact location of a company.
How do I get to CareerSearch?
Students and alumni of the University of Georgia who are registered with the Career Center may access CareerSearch via the Internet 24 hours a day. In order to access CareerSearch, currently registered UGA students and alumni may click here.
Once you are logged-in, you will be allowed to access CareerSearch for one hour at a time. If, after your one hour session has ended, there are sufficient system resources available, you may be allowed to stay on the system for an extended period.

You will find detailed 'HELP' links throughout the CareerSearch website as well as an informative tutorial and sample employer search.
