Charles Perry
Career Consultant for Franklin College of Arts and Sciences
(Pre-Medical, Science, Math and statistics
)
Chuck has served in a wide variety of positions in each of the primary work sectors and earned advanced degrees in Behavioral Science and Visual Art. He suggests that all students visit their Career Consultant during their first semester on campus. He has worked with students from all majors and finds that most students restrict their career planning to their major area instead of investigating the vast opportunities accessible through internships, professional organizations and faculty members from all disciplines.
A student's higher education is judged as much by actual engagement in the world of the laboratory, the courts, the marketplace and the outside world as classroom study.
There are steps a student can take to have a richer, more exciting
educational experience despite the rigor of an academic program, the
complication of a job schedule or the frustration of misplacing an
original vision or lifelong dream. Please feel free to call Chuck
directly at (706) 542-7271, or to schedule an appointment through the
reception area (706) 542-3375.
